Add a link to the quiz results page in Brevo emails

Written by Wendy

You can add a button to your Brevo email that takes each shopper back to their saved Lantern quiz results.

You don't need a Dynamic Content block for this. Use a standard Button block and link it to the results page URL from the Completed_Lantern_Quiz event.

Step 1: Add a button to your email

1.1. In the Brevo drag-and-drop editor, add a Button block where you want the results link to appear.

1.2. Change the button text to something like View Your Results or See Your Results.

Step 2: Link the button to the quiz results

2.1. Select the button to open its settings.

2.2. Under Target, click the variable icon.

2.3. Choose:

Event data → Custom events → Completed_Lantern_Quiz

2.4. Select results_url_full to link directly to the saved results page. If you want to use your store's custom domain instead, follow the steps below to append results_url_short.

You can use the full results page URL, or the short results URL if you prefer.

Brevo will use the results page link from each shopper's own Completed_Lantern_Quiz event, so the button takes them back to their saved quiz results.

Use a custom domain or app proxy

If you want the results button to use your store's custom domain or a custom app proxy path, use results_url_short instead of results_url_full.

With the standard results URL, the button Target can simply be:

{{ params.results_url_full }}

No additional URL is needed.

For a custom domain or app proxy, build the URL using:

your domain + app proxy path + results_url_short

For example:

https://yourdomain.com/tools/perfect-product-finder{{ params.results_url_short }}

If you've changed your Lantern app proxy path, replace /tools/perfect-product-finder with your current path.

Step 3: Preview the button

3.1. Click Preview & test.

3.2. Select Preview event.

3.3. Under Event type, choose Custom events, then select: Completed_Lantern_Quiz

3.4. Select a completed quiz event to use for the preview.

3.5. Click the results button in the preview and confirm that it opens the shopper's saved Lantern quiz results page.

Once you've confirmed the link works, you can continue editing your email or use it in your Brevo automation.
