On all quiz pages you will find buttons to add new Content Blocks to customize them. They are usually placed in a few sections of the page to better accommodate the needs of each store.
Placement options
Depending on the page you are at such as the Welcome Page or any other Quiz Pages you will have 3 placements where you can add a content lock from.
They are intended for all quiz pages except the Results Page to help you customize and construct any step to fit perfectly with your needs. They can include a mix of components in a single block that is fully customizable as you can see in the screenshot below.
What it can contain
The first option to set is the container size, represented by the width on both desktop and mobile.
Media elements
In the content blocks you can easily add media in the form of images or GIFs from the dedicated media row. By checking the option, you will see a few settings related to position and size. The image position will refer to its position within this block of content you add.
You can either upload or add one of the free images or GIFs from our resources.
Input section
The input section of the content block is very versatile and offers virtually unlimited possibilities for what you can add. The very basic is adding text that you can customize in detail with special alignment, bulleted or numbered lists, and even custom text or background colors as you would in any other editor.
Buttons and links
A button is one useful element that can easily be added here. To do so, click the green icon on the menu bar of the input section of the block, and in the popup, customize the text and link for the button.
You will also find some optional style settings in the popup for this new button you are adding to further customize it.
You will need to click on the Optional Style Settings link in order to see these options:
Adding a link in this block of text could also be useful. To do so, select the text that you want to redirect to a certain URL, click on the link icon, and paste the URL there.
Adding videos
One extra quick feature button is adding a video to this element. To do so, click on the video icon in the same menu bar. This will open a small popup in which you can paste the URL for the video you want to display here.
Raw HTML code
This new functionality offers even more flexibility and customization options for each page in the quiz. At the end of the Content Blocks options you now have the option to add HTML code that will render as is so you need to make sure you are not introducing typos or errors in the code.
Please use with feature with caution.
After all the changes have been made, you can click on Save Content Block to save your changes and preview them on the page where you added the element.
If you want to customize this element further, you can use custom CSS. Please check out our help article about using custom CSS to customize your quiz.
