With the Opus Cart Drawer integration, you can take users from the results page directly to a smooth cart drawer experience, creating a faster transition from product recommendation to purchase.
First, make sure you have Opus Cart Drawer installed on your Shopify store and that the cart drawer option is activated and functioning properly. All cart styling and customization should be handled inside the Opus app. Lantern’s role is to trigger the drawer when products are added from the quiz Results Page.
Quiz settings
To enable the Opus Cart Drawer when adding recommended products to the cart from the results page, follow these steps for each quiz:
Edit the quiz and go over to the Results Page
From the right-hand side menu, click on the drop down Reviews, Cart, Subscriptions option
Go to the Cart & Side Cart Drawer and click the drop menu
Select Opus Cart Drawer
Once this is done republish your quiz.
Theme requirements
The next step is to head over to your Theme Editor, and from the App Embeds section on the left-hand side, enable Lantern Core.
For Opus Cart Drawer, you will also need to enable the Opus embed from the App Embeds section in your theme editor.
Shopper experience
The next time a user clicks Add to cart on a product from the quiz results page, they will see the Opus Cart Drawer open automatically with the item already added, without a page reload.
