With the Corner Cart integration, you can now take users from the results page directly to a streamlined cart experience, ensuring a seamless transition from product recommendation to purchase.
First, make sure you have Corner Cart installed and that your cart drawer option is activated and functioning properly. Ensure that all cart-related setup and customization are handled within the Corner Cart app. Lantern’s role is to facilitate the connection and functionality of these customized cart options within the overall quiz flow.
Quiz settings
To enable the cart drawer when adding recommended product to cart from the results page, follow these steps for each quiz:
Edit the quiz and go over to the Results Page
From the right-hand side menu, click on the drop down Reviews, Cart, Subscriptions option
Go to the Cart & Side Cart Drawer and click the drop menu
Select the desired behavior when a product is added to the cart. By default, this is set to open the Default Cart Page. Change this setting to Corner Cart Drawer.
Once this is done republish your quiz.
The next step is to head over to your Theme Editor, and from the App Embeds section on the left-hand side, enable Lantern Core.
The next time a user clicks to add a product to their cart from the results page, they will experience a seamless transition with the cart drawer already open and ready for checkout.
