Free Installation on Development Stores
Lantern is free to use on Shopify Development stores. If you are installing Lantern on a Shopify dev store, there will be no charges applied in any circumstance. This makes Lantern an ideal choice for developers or merchants testing their Shopify stores during the development phase.
Test Charges During Installation
During the installation process, you’ll be prompted to approve a charge. This is a test-only charge, and you will not be billed.
When Your Store Moves to a Paid Shopify Plan
Once your Shopify store transitions from a Development store to a paid Shopify plan, Lantern's standard pricing applies.
Your store can continue using Lantern on the FREE plan, which includes access to all current Lantern features and supports up to 50 quiz takers per month.
If your quiz usage grows beyond the Free plan limit, the quiz will stop working for that billing period unless you move to the appropriate paid Lantern plan based on your monthly quiz takers.
