If you prefer, you can check out this information in video format.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to add a button to your Omnisend emails that links directly to your quiz results page.

Step 1: Add a Button to Your Omnisend Email

Drag a Button element from the Library panel and drop it into your email template. You can customize the button label to something like "View My Results" or "Explore your results page".

Step 2: Connect the Button to the Quiz Results Page

To link the button, you’ll use a dynamic URL sent by Lantern when the quiz is completed.

2.1 Click the button element you just added.

2.2 In the Button URL field, enter:

[[event.results_url_full]]

Alternatively, if you prefer to use a short URL (especially when using a custom domain), you can use:

[[event.results_url_short]]

Note: These URLs are automatically included in the event data sent by Lantern to Omnisend. They work for any Lantern quiz.

Step 3: Customize the Button Appearance

You can personalize the button's appearance to match your brand using the built-in Button Settings in Omnisend. For consistent styling across multiple buttons, use the Button Style dropdown, which includes three preset styles: Primary button, Secondary button, and Tertiary button. This makes it easier to apply a unified look throughout your email.

For full customization options such as font, colors, padding, and more, refer to this official Omnisend guide: Button settings in Omnisend.

Step 4: Preview and Test

Once you've set up your button and link, click Preview & Test to verify that the button appears correctly and links to the quiz results page.

You can also send yourself a test email to make sure everything works as expected.
