Publishing Quizzes in Lantern
To generate the unique links required for embedding or previewing your quiz, you must publish it in the Lantern quiz builder. Publishing a quiz:
Activates the quiz within Lantern.
Generates unique links, including the Pop-up URL, In-Store URL, Standalone URL, and Embed key.
Important Notes:
The in-builder Preview feature only opens a standalone version of the quiz and cannot be used to preview the popup.
Publishing does not automatically add the quiz to your live Shopify store. Customers will not see the quiz until you manually add it using an embed, popup trigger, or page link.
Testing Quizzes on Shopify Themes
After publishing your quiz, you can test its popup and embedded versions on an unpublished Shopify theme. This allows you to verify the quiz's functionality and appearance without affecting your live store.
Editing and Republishing Quizzes
You can continue editing your quiz even after publishing it. However, any changes made will require republishing for the updates to take effect. This ensures that the latest version of your quiz is active and available for embedding or previewing.
